Tabitha Vaughn is UF Health St. Johns Administrator of Perioperative Surgical Services, where she is responsible for the leadership, oversite, and strategic direction of surgical and ambulatory services across two locations.
She joined UF Health St. Johnsas Director of Ambulatory Surgical Services, Multi-Site in 2019, where she managed day-to-day operations of Orthopedic ASC and Multispecialty HOPD. Prior to that, she was RN Administrator & Infection Control Coordinator at Patient Partners Surgery Center in Gallatin, Tenn., and RN Administrator & Clinical Director at the St. Charles Surgery Center in St. Charles, Missouri.
Early in her career in health care, Ms. Vaughn was RN Charge Nurse Telemetry & MICU at Mercy Hospital, followed by time working as RN Infection Control Preventionist & QAPI Coordinator at the St. Louis Eye Surgery & Laser Center.
She earned her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Mineral Area Community College and her Bachelor of Healthcare Administration/Management from Western Governors University.
